Intel Wireless USB 1.6Mbps Device $24.99 each (modified 0 times) teksavy Profile Share printers, files, Internet, and more without wires at 1.6Mbps through floors and walls at the max of 150ft. Is this worth it for $24.99 each after rebates?? I want to buy 2 (one for laptop and one for GTC) so that I can surf wirelessly anywhere in the house. Has anyone tried these Intel Anypoints with the GTC or IOpener? Not much to say, they generally work well, but actual throughput will be (speed advertised)/2 at best, same thing for 802.11b that's supposedly 11mbps but maxes out at 4mbps in ideal conditions.
