OK, Just what is that 26 pin header CN15 ???
Has anyone else checked out the other connections on the GTC?

First I thought it might be a floppy interface; Then I thought it might be a parallel port.

Now, I am not sure at all! I tried a straight through adapter I made with a parallel port to a 26 pin 2mm header, that didn't work. I rechecked what pins I could, pins 1 & 2 are 5 volt, 15 & 16 are ground. To the best of my knowledge and pinouts references that I could find, this doesn't match any type of floppy or parallel port. The only other type of common interface using 26 pins is the feature connecter on some video cards.

Isn't anyone else interested in finding out what this is??

I traced a couple of the pins from the header to the ALI 1535 controller so I requested and got all the data sheets on the 1535 controller from ALI, so as time permits I will soon figure that header out. If anyone wants copies of the data sheets, let me know and I will email them out. BigDog

Bigdog, there are some laptop floppy drives that have this kind
of pin-outs. I've seem some at Thinkpads, for instance.
Compugeeks has one of them:
http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=MF355H
Take a look at the pdf manual at the bottom, on page 3-1 you will
find the pin-outs for this one. So far it matches your description
of pins 1 & 2 being 5V and 15 & 16 being ground...
I hope this helps.
