I just purchased my first GCT and I am having a little problem figuring out how everybody loads the OS. I am going to get an IDE header soldered on (hey bigdog, wanna make some money?) and get a small laptop hard drive but how do I load the OS without a CD-rom?? Do I need to preload something with a laptop or what??
I am planning on using windows 2k, is there anything special I should know?? I mainly want this for internet browsing and maybe some light MP3 usage.
I have searched the site already and have found that there are no drives for the touch screen that work with win2k, is this correct??
Thanks for any help.

The easy way to load the notebook drive is to get a 40 to 44 pin IDE adapter, I belive www.badflash has them and ebay has them too. This will allow you to hook the notebook drive up to a regular 40 pin desktop computer interface to load.
As far a soldering goes, sure drop me a line... BigDog
And unfortunatly there isn't a touchscreen driver for 2000 or XP yet...

Sorry I didn't get back to you this weekend, I have been out of the weather with the flu. I don't have your email address with me now (I am at work). I will email you this evening....
