Which IDE Cable Please?

Hello,

I am going to buy IDE cable for the IBM hard drive and going to install that to my Gateway touchpad. Badflash has advertised one " 4" Gateway Connected
Touchscreen (GCT) IDE Cable" for $10. Is this the correct type? because they also has other one for $15 "44-40 pin Complete Adapter, includes the male to male header and a short 44 pin cable - the works. Assembly". Please, tell me of which one I should get, the $10 cable or the $15 cable. Their website @ http://www.badflash.com/iopenerframe.html

Thanks for all of your great help

The cable for $10 is the cable you will need from the IDE header in the GCT to the hard drive(you must either solder one on or already have one on the unit) and the 44-40 pint complete adapter is to hook your laptop hard drive up to a regular IDE connector on a PC.

The 4" cable is for mounting the drive between the CPU and IDE header (insulate the mainboard with tape and/or use double sided tape) and the longer cables if you take out the modem (the card with the 4 screws) and mount the drive there.
