yellow1,

Any way to turn off the continual pop-up ad boxes on your website? They're very annoying to constantly close or minimize, enough to keep me from going back again. One of the downsides of using a 'free' webpage service. Ultimately, I find the BBS here the best overall source for centralized info since I have 2 iOs, 1 WebPlayer and a GCT en route....

The easiest way to kill popups is not patronize the sites that use them, 'cause they're obviously not serious about their site. I don't need another app running in the systray taking up resources for somebody else's crapola. You get what you don't pay for when you use 'free' hosting sites, ya know? If you're serious about providing a service, register a domain name for $10 and cough up another $10 a month for site hosting. I'll tolerate banner ads within a site, that'll get you a little payback for hits if the ads are for something worthwhile....

Try the nic2003.zip in the GVC NIC directory, The other net drivers came from Gateway someone thought they might work.

Also according to the tech PDF on the Broadcom HPNA adapter, it is also a V90 modem too.

I just poseted drivers for the HPNA card that include regular modem support. They are in the Gateway HPNA Modem directory on the freedrive account.

Having a modem support on the mini-pci would allow you to take the regular modem out and have room to install the hard drive and just about every mini-PCI card I have seen has had a modem built into it regardless if it was a HPNA card, ethernet network card, or vidio capture card.
