Keyboard problem; numlock on?

somehow I must have trigerred some kind of num lock by pressing some combination and the right side of my keyboard becomes a keypad now. Help I want to get my keyboard back. Will someone tell me how to disable this?

oh silly me although I wasnt able to remap the keyboard there was an onscreen keyboard in xp that I used to switch off the numlock
