Is it me or is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2011595467 a little too expensive?

It appears to be similer to the GCT except it has an AMI bios, PCMCIA cardbus and an extra CF socket. It's going for $227 at this time, seems a little high for some thing that most likely doesn't have a power supply and keyboard included AND there doesn't appear to have a memory slot for adding more memory...

This seller has had some cool things for sale in the past (they seem to buy a lot of "Dot Bomb" surplus....

I think all these Transmeta pads were made by Quantas, a large ODM in Taiwan (?).
Recently, the Pacblade, Casio Fiva and FIC Aquapad have been using the same platform

They have another interesting one up for auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2015078760

It has a older 2mb wireless, I thought about bidding on it but the I don't believe the wireless will work on my new 802.11b stuff and it's the standard dstn LCD not TFT.

no that uses the Proxim 802.11 protocol and it's not 802.11b compatible.
$235 is way too much for that webpad IMHO !

That's kinda what I thought, 200mhz Geode, older wiresless, DSTN LCd.....

A Virgin Webplayer would be better deal and they arre going for less than $100.
