This is a request for Locutus1976... PLEASE respond this message on the board with some contact email address (so I can verify it' s really you when I later get an email response) and then email me (or I will email you).
I'll PAY the media cost + shipping + $5 if you can burn the Aol for Home Networks software to cd-r and mail it to me (Florida, zip 33166).
I have been pulling my hair from months and NOBODY at aol-files, or Gateway, or AOL seems to want to give me this cd-rom which originally came with the GCTP units. And I NEED it. Please don't lecture me about not using aol, using another O/S in the GCTP, etc. I already know about the "connect over tcp/ip" feature in InstantAol (I'm using it right now) but what I REALLY NEED is to have this "aol for home networks" software to make the GCTPs connect to aol over "aol home networking".
This is the ONLY way to connect all 7 aol USERIDs simultaneously to the net from diifferent GCTPs, and this can be only done by setting up a pc with the "aol for home networks" software acting as a network gateway.
Thanks,
Willy

I have the Software for the AOL for home networks. It wouldn't work for me and here's why. I have 2 systems splitting a Cable line thru a 10/100 Linsys switch. I pay 9.99 a month more because I use AOL as another means for the rest of the Family to use (EASY INTERFACE). I tried connecting the GW.T.P. to the switch and installing the Software, which I had to call Gateway to get, and It would not allow me to create an INSTANT AOL ACCOUNT. Instant AOL can only be used if you are a FULL subscriber to AOL. I have full access, but I'm not paying 24.00$ a month so they don't count that as FULL access. I was on the phone w/AOL for about a total of 6 hours, and the bottom line was, to get around all of it, I would have to pay 24.00 + 9.99 for the touchpad to have access to using the Home Network Software. I started getting technical with one of the main guys in the INSTANT AOL department and he gave up with me and said sir " We are still in Beta stage of all of this, everything doesn't work yet" LOL!! Thats when I stumbled on to this site, linked from an Ebay auction. Instead of returning the POS, I'm going to do what U all are doing. If you want the software, I'll burn a copy. I can get it to you faster than Gateway can. It took them 2 days to figure out that they even had the CD to give out :)
