I need the modem, sound, video, chipset, drivers for Windows95b Does anyone know where I can get them?
I had a complete windowsME running perfectly but it was too slow for me. The windows95 is loaded and is several times faster but I need new drivers. Does anyone know where I can get them..

Thanks

Randall

My advice...don't use Win95. I tried for almost a week to get it going, I even had drivers. I could not get sound to work at all. Nothing but pain.

I used WinME (ewww) w/ Win98 Lite and it all worked plug-n-play with the available drivers (from some fileshare account from this site). 98 should work as well as ME one would assume...

Win95 Sucked... I have two of them and tried to get one going with 95a then 95b and never had much luck with it, never did find the chipset drivers for it and had lots of trouble with the sound but I did get that working...

I then set one up with Win98 and the other with WinMe...

Go with WinMe... it finds everything and works just like 98 but it seems a little faster and smoother... add in Win98 Lite (http://www.litepc.com ) and it's actually pretty decent for a 400mhz transmeta processor.

Now i have one with WinMe and the other with the Midori linux that's posted on the board (sure wish I had a clue what to do with it though) Just don't waste your time with Win95.

Good Luck
