GCT as a X Terminal

OK, I like the GCT but is is slow in Windows.
What about using Midora Linux and just using it as a Xterminal (like a thin client), running all the CPU intensive stuff on a XHost with more power?

It is my undrstanding that when running remote X sessions, all the heavy lifting is done on the server so the system should run fast?
Now the problem is getting the HPNA eth0 to work on both machines or finding a mini PCI ethernet card!

Any thoughts??
