Need a IDE header / a few questions

I need an IDE header for my GCT. Badflash is out of them but is still a source for the cable. Anyone out there still have a header or a cable? About soldering the header, how does one do surface mount stuff? I can solder pretty well with through hole but I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to do it using through hole methods. Do you tin each pad then push the pin down on top of it while heating? Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure I have an extra IDE header if you still need one. I'm no expert at soldering, but I didn't have any problems soldering the header onto the MB. The pads are already tinned on the motherboard.

If he doesn't need one I'll take it off your hands.

I'll take it - email me at david@dcarr.org and we'll work out the details.
Thanks,
