I just received a GCT with Ethernet and I wasn't sure if it also has HPNA? It has a modem for sure, how can I access the HPNA abilities (assuming it has them) in Windows ME? I've installed GCT modem drivers but all it shows in the device manager is a standard 56k modem. Any ideas?
HPNA and ethernet are two different standard options, if there is a two wire connecter coming off the mini-pci card in the center then it's just HPNA, if there isn't a wire connecter from the card then it's HPNA. (the ethernet card utilizes a hard wired connection to the RG45 port).
The standard modem is the rectangular board held on with 4 screws which all GCT's have and it has a dual wire connecter going to the RG11 connectors which is commanly seen as a 56k modem (the HPNA card under WinME will also have a soft56k modem too once the drivers are loaded for it)
