I know some one out there has a BIOS image that they'd be able to email me or something. I'd really appreciate it! I guess I have "the old one" that has the black&white boot screen that shows AOL and Gateway. Here's the info I took down from the screen:
"PHOENIX BIOS 4.0 RELEASE 6.0.3
(c) 1985-2000 PHOENIX TECHNOLOGIES
...
.... [stuff I didn't think was important]
...
TRANSMETA PDB-1535 BIOS
LABEL 2000-01, VER 103
(EXTERNAL RELEASE)"
I know someone with the hardware to write the image, so all I need is the image file. To read more of my story involving "those weird red characters in the corner of the screen," look for the thread heading of "BIOS Image".

I greatly appreciate anyone's help! and you're welcome to email me:
####acct@nospam.hotmail.com (those 4 letters that are blocked out are the popular synonym for "crap" that this board blocks out. it sounds like "shyt" it is a real email address though when you take away the "nospam".)
thanks in advance!
