GCT Midori Image...
getting usb to work

Hey, I wrote the latest gct Midori image to a 64mb cf card and USB doesnt work. Tried both Pheonix and Opera versions. Odd part is, I tried an older release and usb works... at least my kb and mouse. I would just use this older image but it does not have usb mass storage like the latest image is supposed to. Any ideas?

Btw, I have an ethernet model. There is no netowrk config when I go to http://localhost ... its just blank where the network stuff should be. Again in the older image, everything is there. I can get the internet to work on the latest image, I just need to use DHCP.

Also, on the latest opera image I get this error about wrong display type or something, and it says press ENTER or wait 30 seconds. Pressing enter or anything doesnt work but after 30 seconds it continues to load.

I get the same thing...I guess it's loading but not showing the startup on screen. Also my USB doesn't work neither, nor does HPNA. SO...I have no way to see if I can get this thing on the network. I just bought a GCT and was hoping for a no brainer CF image that worked. Unfortunately, WHIZ's site has been down for the last few days so I don't know what the state of his build is. Does anyone else have a functioning MIDORI flash image that supports HPNA?

PING CHAEZWHIZ: I would be happy to mirror your image files on my server.

Same here,

I'm also trying to install debian on a HD connected to it and for the life of me I can't get the usb going on the gct. I did a basic net install with the HD connected to my regular computer, I even tried using the usb 100tx on that one to do the net install it works there but not once I boot it on the gct. I guess there is some kernel module I'm missing. I'm trying to download an older version of midori to see that my unit's usb isn't fried for some reason: I can never even get a cue:cat to light up. Seems just like there is no power from the usb at all!

I guess if USB doesn't work on chaezwhiz latest image then the kernel config file he has posted wouldn't work either... Anyone with a clue? what's so different about the CGT's usb bus? what modules does it use?
