GCT problems...

Well, the GCT WAS working just dandy.... did a test boot with the original CF card/image, and it booted into instant AOL w/out a problem. So, I unplugged it, very carefully pu the case back together, plugged it back in, and the damn thing won't boot! The Gateway logo comes up just fine, but it then goes to a black screen and nothing else happens. So, I disassembled the GCT, plugged it in again, and tried to boot it.... with the same results. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Suggestions:

Refit everything again. Heck, double check the tightness of all connections. If you have to -- manually take out and reconnect any wires, cables, etc that you can without breaking them.

Next, look for damaged circuitry. Identify any broken parts by closely (takes about 10 minutes) looking over the circuit board with a magnifying glass.

Last, look for damaged or chaffed wires, etc.

Good luck man..
