Mine was one of the first makes of this device. I was using it before the software went golden. It worked a few years ago - and I decided to pull it off the shelf and turn it on.
When I tried to use the touch screen - it was no surprise to me it did not work. I figured it would of lost the calbration by now anyways.
I was surprized when the keyboard did not work though. I tried to change the batteries. Nothing. The clock on the device works. It is only 4 minutes off and it has the correct day which is not bad after sitting for atleast 2 or 3 years.
Any ideas how to get it working? I used a USB mouse to move the mouse - but theres no setting for a master reset without using the CNTRL SHIFT plus command. I dont have any USB keyboards - so I can't even load aol to get the latest software for the device. The last 4 numbers on the device version are 4004.
