I need help building my os…. I confed it and then typed in “make” the err I got back is “You need to set umask to 022 to build this system” well I did that, I typed in “umask 022” “umask –S 022” “umask –p 022” and after each one I typed in umask just to see what it was and it keps saying “0022”. I tried it on knoppix (I know) and SoL (server optimized linux) I don’t know what to do any help.
