Hmm, my GCT just shut down. power went off - poof. I suspect it was heat related not power related? It has an IBM 20GB drive in there but was fine for a long time. I planned on putting a fan in there on top of the heatsink anyway because it got so warm. Now (if it turns out to be a heat problem) it looks like I may have to.

Never had that problem in over two weeks of use with a 6gb IBM drive in there.
Make sure nothing is shorting inside the box.
I have the modem and ethernet card out as I don't need them.

Yellow1, are you going to keep the ethernet card out??

If you don't plan using it,I would buy it for a decent price ......

How about the suspend mode. Anyone get the GCT to sleep and not wake up? My turns back on within a minute.

GCT -- No CF
2.1Gig 8.45 HDD
Windows ME
USB Mouse

Suspend and come back after a minute or so.

Mine does this also. When it comes back, there's a message box telling me that it can't suspend while in the middle of installing something. I don't know what it thinks it's installing and I haven't had a chance to look into it further.

I'm running:
GCT HPNA
WinME
No CF
Modem removed
10G HD
128M SODIMM
USB mouse
USB Linksys ethernet
