Okay, first of all, I Fdisk the hdd, and loaded dos on the system. Tried the keyboard header but it doesn't work. now I cant get into the AOL setup at all to have it fix the system! :(

I need a copy of the bios image. I am using uniflash and you can mail it to me at digilexic@earthlink.net , also if anyone has a dolly image of the HDD partition, I could use it too. I know its like 14MB, but if you will allow me to donload it I will post it on my website so everyone can d/l it.

If you got the keyboard working, not the IR one, but a PS2 one, then you can try the recovery function.

Hold Control-F2 down and press the reset. This will bring up the recovery program. Attach a phone line to the AOLTV and let it dial out and download the update. I've been able to recover from a bad Flash job and a clean HD this way. As a bonus, it even gave me an upgrade on the BIOS and Software by doing this.

If you can't get this working, let me know, I have a dolly image available. Just give me a place to put it, I don't have a place for you to download from.

If your keyboard header is not working, you might want to check the pinouts again.

I cant get the ps/2 keyboard to work at all, even with the correct pinouts, which means the bios is probably shot. I cant get into the setup with the IR at all. I can boot to the dos partition on the drive though. IM me on AIM my username is FairePlaye, on ICQ my user ID is 17364335

I hae a couple websites where you could upload to, get in toch with me and I will give you he info, or email me at digilexic@earthlink.net

Thanks for the hard disk image, system now boots into the aol software.

I still can't get a ps/2 keyboard to work however, and before I wiped the drive I was able to get to a screen that said update cancel setup, or something like that using the IR keyboard, but now I cant. I still think I have a problem with the bios, can someone send me an image of the bios that I can se uniflash to update it?

Is anyone else having this kind of trouble with the ps2 port? Is it possible to burn it out? When I first started fiddling with it at least the keyboard got power, but now not even a flicker...

Originally I had trouble getting it to work. I'll post my pinouts tonight when I get home.
