Well I tried a USB hard drive and it did not work either. This is a standard laptop drive in an external case. The case is a no-brand unit from Compgeeks. The driver says GL811. It locks up the keyboard (PS2 and IR) too. I tried both bus powered and powering off the keyboard port. I really thinking about abandoning the AOL-TV. I might put it in the swap sell section soon.

well...has Anyone tryed Using A USB HUB and A PS22USB Converter and A ps2 Mouse/Keyboard?
mayb A Usb ZIP Drive, thumb Drive,Cd Rom Drive
or Like Put Emulators On it and use A USB Joystick/GamePad?
Maybe Make it A Dos-Linux Box?<Linux that Runs Off DOS partitions Eg-WinLinux>
Make it A Arcade Emulator Box:)
From Reading ALl The Info here So Far i Don't See The Problem..
Putting The Usb HUB On it,The ps2-Usb Converter and a Ps2 keyboard/Mouse And Installing OPENDOS Or DrDos 8.0<Both Have USB Dos Drivers>
Then Add Like QUICKMENU 3
And Start Adding Emulators To The Menu
Then ya Have A Complete Arcade Emu Or Console Emulator Box
