Simple AOL ethernet/modem hack

Does this thing work with standard AOL? Not the AOLTV thing(since the service is dead), but regular AOL dialup numbers and a normal AOL account. I just want to get it working for it's intended purpose to send to my grandmother to check email.

Installing a nic to use AOL over my home network is too difficult for anyone besides the most hardcore geeks, correct?
I just want to access AOL with this thing, preferably over the network, but if not , for grandma with the modem, will this work?

TIA for anyone who's tried this.

No the unit will not work for any internet access.
AOL stopped the service, and the software is designed for that service only.

Several people have played with the unit, it's sort of a standard 486 PC, and it has a hard drive, with 16MB RAM.
I installed Windows 95 on mine, and it actually boots up, but no mouse, or wireless keyboard support.
Not really much else can be done with it, and most of the serous hackers here, seem to have stopped working on it..
