I saw the appearance, and chatted in the chat room and must saw I was a bit dissapointed. The segment was only about 5 minutes and the chat was truely crap!!!! All they could talk about was cartoons. Not one bit of tech talk in the whole chat area. Ken did cool in the short amount of time he was alotted. A little more time would have allowed him to really show off his work but an appearance is an appearance.

Hey, The dude just hooked up a hardrive with a cable to the i-O, Does not take that much skill to do that........so what did you expect?

Anyone digitize this segment and like make it Real Video or asf or like divx for download? Hell, for 5 mins, even straight out mpeg is fine. Then Linux users could DL it and watch it too.

Wasneverimpressed, how obvious was rubbing two sticks together to get fire, before the first person did it? How obvious was it afterwards? There is no comparison. Give Ken his props. That was a great piece of detective work he did. First, not taking the i-o at face value, but digging deeper into it. Second, sussing out the modified IDE pinout. I say, "good work, Ken, and thank you."

To the never was impressed dude, You have no respect, I didn't see you on ZDTV last night!! As for wiggles RIGHT ON!! I did think they should have given Ken more time but still he was cool in front of the camera. Hands down, If Ken S. didn't hack the I-O we would not even be posting here about our ideas. later

It's truly amazing how some of you folks don't have one bit of self control over the emotions. Bet your family and friends suffer daily from your lack of self control.
Frequently get mad at the driver in front of you to I bet!

Some self awareness may be in order.
