You were correct, called my local CC and they had em in stock (it was on your list) as of noon July 5 they were still selling em to anyone who walked in with $99 plus tax. Thanks very much. The only thing I wonder is the outside of the box says you release your name address and phone number to Netpliance for a service plan. Does CC really release this information to Netpliance?

Picked up the one I ordered on July 4, and yes there is a big sticker on it that authorizes disclosure IF YOU BREAK THE SEAL. Don't think I'll break my seal for a while as an experiment .

Anyway as a side issue they (CC) are again taking preorders (at least at the CC in Somerville MA). Nothing in the preorder about having to sign up. Nothing on their website about the TOS nothing in the store about the TOS. Kinda figure that NPLI blew it again. Don't these guys learn? Their legal staff must be a bunch of armadillos...

Just went to Circuit City in St. Cloud, MN and bought one of the last two. $106.49 including tax. No mention of TOS. I paid cash.
