I have the drivers for my wavelan wireless card (the thing that will make or break the product IMHO). I can't seem to figure out how to load them from my win98 machine to the epod. I can stick the code on a CFram module but can't execute it on either the win98 machine or the epod. I tried ActiveSync from Microsoft but that couldn't seem to connect. RE:epods internet appliance now shipping (modified 0 times) codeman Profile | Email well i hate to say it but i looks like they crippled the machine by not letting you add software to it 8( there should be a file in there 'wceload' that will install downloaded files its a standard wince file but i guess they removed it ! now that really sux !!! this is off the epods web page "Does the ePodsOne have any computer functionality? The ePodsOne uses Windows CE, the popular Microsoft® operating system for handheld computers, and includes word processing with Microsoft® Pocket Word." they sure make it sound like you can add other ce software or is that just me but i did get the HUM mp3 player working on it just copied it to a cf card and it worked fine o ya the browser is SLOWWWW !! codeman 07-29-2000 20:51:18

However I've tried is the wavelan driver stuff. I'll go grab something from the net and see what happens there. I also have an old Phenom handheld (2.1 OS I think) so I have a disk somewhere for it. I'll let the group know if I make any progress. It has the potential of being very nice if we can get past the dialup connectivity. 07-30-2000 13:35:41

ActiveSync 3.1 (modified 0 times) dshaughnessy Profile I had some problems with this at first as well. I don't have a USB cable so I used a serial null modem cable. You need to use the pc link, which is under communications --> program files the serial config on the epods, by default is Baud Rate 19200 Data Bits - 8 Parity - None Stop Bits 1 Flow Control - Hardware Make sure your PC matches these. Start the connection on the Epods, and Active Sync should connect on its own. Hope this helps..... 07-31-2000 11:31:42
