Hello All,

I have been following this web board since the I-Opener hack thing. I found an interesting BookPC like computer from Micropro Inc. Its the called iQuest. Don't know who actually makes them, but looks really stylish. Uses the same i810 chipset as the BookPC, but runs a P3 chip 550 ~ 850 Mhz. Quite expensive compared to the BookPC though. Wonder if they sell barebone system ..?? The Ad. I saw has a slim 4x DVD-Rom drive for additional $155.00

On another note, I've been thinking real hard whether to buy one of those BookPC thing. But I do not want to be stuck with the Celeron CPU line. (I want the ability to upgrade later) It will be really great if someone find a way to run those BookPC with P3 CPUs. Anyone out there tried to play DVD with the output to TV on the BookPC? Is there any frame-rate drop running under Celeron?

install a fcpga coppermine 700 cpu
i was thinking about making it high end but then i woke up.
its not going to be a workstation, just mp3 player and webbrowser on the bigscreen tv, so a celery 500 is fine for that.

The BookPC also comes as a socket7 so you can run a K6-III. Check around. I'm going to buy one of them.
