CompUSA web site lists $99 and no TOS for NETPLIANCE I-OPENER.

Take a look at the CompUSA web page for the unit:
http://www.compusastores.com/products/product_info.asp?prodzip=&product_code=274376

Notice -- just like the Websurfer page previously used by so many of us -- that this CompUSA page promises an in-store purchase for a flat $99.99 with no additional delineated conditions.

It looks to me like this is another opportunity for CompUSA to honor a published price.

Make sure and click the "More Info" button and print out that too. It goes on and on at length about the product, lists the price, but never mentions any further commitment.

WOOOOWW!!!! That rocks! I got 3 websurfers with a web printout, so I oughtta be able to get an io! The problem may be that the CUSA people are already clued in on the io, so they will be harder to deal with.

Anyone done this deal?

Tried the Web Surfr deal at Latham, NY and failed. Had the website printout; still no-go. I posted a thread about ChumpUSA raising the price back to $199. I call everyday for the 31 they are going to have delivered(Yeah,Right!)
and the girl told me the i-openers have been mostly rain checked or reserved (Prepayment?). but that's when she told me about the price increase. Their web site continues to advertise the $99.00 price.Good Luck to All.

Well, I for one got very far with the printout for the Websurfer. They adjusted the price at the cash register to accommodate the advertised price on the web. This sounds like a great idea for potentially rainchecking a $99 iopener. Thanks, Randy!
