Virgin Webplayer Gets Hacked!

After months and months of deathly inactivity on the Virgin Webplayer board, three exciting things happened recently:

1) IAN, the company handling Virgin's internet appliance venture, decided to shift its focus from B2C to B2B. They withdrew support for Virgin's internet appliance venture.
2) The Virgin internet appliance division consequently went belly up. Virtually everyone was laid off. Subscribers were informed that the internet service was going to end on Nov. 15, and the contract binding them to 3 years of service was null and void. Basically, people were told to keep the Virgin appliances and do with them as they see fit.
3) In less than 24 hours, Virgin's BIOS password was hacked, making it easily hackable just like an I-Opener.
4) You can go to the Virgin board for more info.

I love this board.
