After the retraction of the bid to take Netpliance private, today's news is that Netpliance has laid off more than half their staff, and co-founder and former CEO Kent Savage will be resigning shortly.
Among the insiders, the only true believers seem to be McHale and Lundeen. The latter has been accumulating stock all the way down. Valerie Walden appears to have been conned. There have also been some very astute large shareholders who unloaded in the sucker rally in the $5 to $7 range.
