| Just got back from the Dallas area. They had an I-Opener on display next to the compaq internet appliance w/ a $199 price tag. I asked why they still had it up; Netpliance isn't selling the service anymore, and they didn't have any boxes left. He said that it was a good question, and he had heard the same about the service. After some bothering them some more, I got them to offer it to me for $150. I didn't have the money on me, and I really don't feel like driving all the way back up there to spend that much. I don't know the dallas area that well, and I slept on the way to the store, but I can ask my uncle which one it was if anyone would be interested. He lives near 75 and belt line, and we probably went to the closest store to that, if that helps. | |
