I could have sworn that was an older Compaq IPAQ Internet appliance availible at Radio Shack. At lease it was pictured in a Flyer about 2 months ago.

Kinda looks like a clone of the apple i-Mac or earlier (now discontinued) e-Machines "all in one"
e-Machines got in trouble with apple due to "Blue and White" look alike.

BTW, I found a partially destroyed i-Mac several months ago D-Divin'. The main thing I noted while stripping it is that it is a real CHORE to get to most parts inside the machine. Kinda like a puzzle...I really would hate to sevice these type of machines on a regular basis.

Maybe it's time eMachine gave the all-in-one concept another shot as people seem to like the idea. I wonder what a similar product would go for today? $400,$600?

Fry's Electronics in Wilsonville,OR had emachines with dvd-rom advertised in sunday's[4/8/01] paper for $299 after $75 rebate. [eTower 600id] http://www.frys.com

I personally like the e-Machines e-one concept. Actually if I found one at a reasonable price I would buy it on the spot. I think the machine is rather kool looking.

But packard bell (I had one p-75 all in one), Compaq (I had found one of these D-Divin'), Nec and a few others have all tried the "all in one concept" and it really was not very well received, Very short lived....and most tech's I know really hate them.

IF the Proview ezpc becomes available I will buy one. Just because I too like the concept.

O2U2, I owned one of those Packard bell all-in-one's you described, the p75 and all. It was a very crappy system yet I still have fond memories of playing DOOM on it. Memories....like the shadows left behind....
