With the associated dock and software, it ties into the Qode website and automatically looks up UPCs and builds an inventory for you. They have an explicit policy of NOT sharing your information in an identifiable form, although they do aggregate it. They do offer a shopping-type service - for the UPC you scan, it gives links to sites that offer that product, sometimes at really good prices (at least for books). | |
