More toys. These seem pretty "dumb" but I have great faith in this crowd to find interesting things. These units remand me of the original Radio Shack Model 100 portable laptops, a machnine that was near and dear to my heart in my early days as a boy reporter. But who can whine about 200-300 hours on AA batteries???
I love my AlphaSmart 3000. Traded in an old broken Brother word processor to get it for $200 last year. It's durable and has great battery life. Only thing is I can't figure out how to do forward delete and there's no cut and paste, but I bring it lots of places I'd be scared to bring a laptop.
