They will be brought to justice, I have no doubt. What sickens me is when well-meaning people say that we should "obviously" dialogue with these terrorists more. In my book they have used up any rights to dialogue at this point.
Here's another thing to think about, regarding the trite little bits of nonsense that are being said (in some places). I am shocked that this could even happen. Amazed, horrified. So now I guess I'm educated, and no longer the "complacent" person I was yesterday. How then, do I change the way I live? Does knowing that someone could hijack a plane and run me down with it give me any more safety or security?
I tell you what I've gotten out of all this. I can't laugh. I feel like I've been robbed. I can't take pleasure in anything but wrapping my arms around my wife and kids and holding on for dear life. When will life go back to normal, or will it ever? God this is horrible. | |
