Great deal!

I just found a great deal on a mini keyboard and scrolling mouse combo. It's $2.00 plus $8.00 shipping at http://www.iitem.com It's blue, has mouse connectors on the keyboard so only one cable goes to the PC (great for i-Openers!)

Specifics are here: http://www.iitem.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=671905%7C935234&PRID=1006033

I just ordered one so I'll post a follow-up when I receive it.

I was going to ask if you'd ever received it, but since the link generates an error...

I'm interested to know if this works. The ad states that "only one cord goes to the computer", but this may be somewhat misleading since based on the picture that "one cord" terminates in two connectors - one for keyboard and one for mouse. If that's the case then it wouldn't work for the Fujitsu, which only has one PS2 port (unless you acquired a serial adapter for the mouse connector and loaded the appropriate drivers - but no telling if the keyboard comes with the adapter or drivers).

I looked into getting a combination keyboard/pointing device when I first got my Fujitsu, but quickly learned that even though they're integrated into one unit they all come with separate connectors for keyboard and mouse.

I got one. It works very well. Too bad there is not picture on the site of it. It is smaller than a normal keyboard. They pretty much get rid of the normal size arrow keys and INS,DEL,HOME,END,PGUP,PGDN to save space. The arrow keys that are used are half the size. I guess for those 6 other keys they expect you to rely on the numpad with NumLock turned off. The keyboard works very nice and feels very good. Nice soft (not clickly) feel to pressing the keys. And about only one coard going into the computer, that is misleading. On the keyboard on each side is a PS/2 connector. The included cord goes from either of those ports toward the computer where it splits in two PS/2 cables (one for keyboard one for mouse). Then you can put a PS/2 mouse in the other PS/2 port on the keyboard (either side). The cord is cool looking too. Clearish/whitish/glittery looking. And the whole thing comes with a blue mouse too (does the site say that?). It's basically this logitech mouse but blue with no logitech logo but some other random logo on it, can't remember what it is (i don't have it in front of me at the moment). Oh yeah, and the keyboard has three "programmable" soft buttons in the upper right corner, labeled "Internet" "Email" and "Sleep". You can program the first two to run any program you want. How "handy" :P

Good buy for $2.00

I went and bought myself a set of this little blue combo, and i got them today. what can i say, I LOVE IT.,
As i went back to their website: www.iitem.com today, found out that they put up this blue speaker for sale at $7.00. good price i would say, and goes perfect with the keyboard since the color matches,
but i don't know are they any good. If anyone has any experiences with the speaker, please let me know.

Sorry for not getting back to y'all sooner, but several others have responded nicely.

If you want to see the keyboard, here is the URL:
http://store.yahoo.com/iitemcom/blucolinmink.html

Ckicking on the picture will show you a bit larger version.

I'm REALLY happy with it, and it compliments the i-Opener very nicely. Yes, it's missing a couple keys, but a quick tap of the NumLock key brings back all the functionality. Kind of a throwback to the old days of the XT keyboards.

As far as other products go from http://www.iitem.com, I haven't bought anything else, but man I spoke with at the company was great to work with, the product arrived quickly, and the price couldn't be beat!

Can you use the stylus for entry at the same time that you use the keyboard when using on a CF-01?
