beware of winxp's boasting of hpt3xx ide driver support as ive found out that it is b.s and will not be supported in winxp for stupid hpt366 ide controller that is built into abit bp6 :(
only newer hpt3xx such as hpt370 and up but i might try using win2000 driver which is pretty much the same type as xp but it'll be unsigneddriver mine worked on old als120 sound card using win2000 driver btw according to winxp it should have supported als120 but it's still b.s and oh well ati all in wonder pci does work except they willnot support tuner(ati player) same as win2000) ####!
im loading winxp on abit bp6 at the moment waiting for it to reboot and when thef6 promt comes up ill hit that and load the win2000 drivers from floppy i hope
the mother of all microshaft! winxp will not let you reinstall the os on same pc or diffrent pc if the hd is trached i reinstalled winxp and found out that to avicate the license via internet will fail saying this license in record stated that i have execced the maximum number of os even i read the !@#$% eula that saying your'e allowed to install on maximum up to 5 and this pc i reinstall is only the 2nd install boy what a stupid microsoft company and you have to call a toll free # and giving the code and entering the new codes!!!! microsoft should be shut down for being monoplistc practices and all winxp source codes be destroyed! and bill gates should have his right hand chopped off by taliban!!
:)
this winxp has the biggest license problem in the world!
so how do i find the activation code, look it up on google? i change my computer's configuration all the time, and i have to reinstall the os frequently, so this would be a real pain.
