Lots of sales around tomorrow...I'm going after this one. Doors open at 7am. From what I can tell, each BestBuy will have at least 10 units. This is a good-looking monitor. I checked out two BestBuy stores Wednesday, one had 17 units, the other 10. The price Wednesday was $359. Normally the crowds are bad...get there early (really early). Race to the monitor section, grab one, race back to the check-out. Last year check-out took some people four hours. You can see a copy of the whole ad on the BestBuy website. This monitor is on the last page.(The back of the large flier)The $229 is after an $80 rebate. See you there....

I picked up a Mag LT501 a couple of months ago at a cost of $250+ tax at Best buy plus a $50 mail in rebate.
The first one had a "stuck on" white pixel near the center of the screen. It annoyed the heck out of me so I exchanged it for the one I have now. It has a dead "Black" pixel near the left center of the screen. I'd rather have this, it is considerably less noticeable.

Overall I like it for the price. It works great with my Toshiba 700Mhz P-III Notebook (D-Dived special) that had a broken LCD,(Broken Lcd now removed).

Overall power consumption of about 40 watts for the LCD.

Ya know, best buy has only returned about 2 of 5 rebates I sent in (and I followed the directions)... I'll never again count on a best buy mail in rebate!

Lucky dog me....I got one, no sweat. My local BestBuy opened early at 6:30, so I only had an hour wait. There were nine left...so I got one, and got out by 6:45. Checked it out right away...no dead pixels. Looks good in vertical driven by an EasyNow.

FWIW....In my opinion, BestBuy is the best place if you're getting rebates. I usually get mine ok...if you don't, go to customer service and complain. You'll usually get the rebate on the spot. My sister did this once and actually got two rebates!

Well if it helps any, I visited a Best Buy in NY and they had 4 sitting under a display unit (4 boxed) this around 2PM (slightly before 2PM I think) the store opened at 7AM... it also appeared to have tons of supposedly $49 hard drives, $19 ink jets and what not... I was surprised both at the parking situation (it was by far the worst I've ever seen) and by the crowds in the store (very crowded) but also by the lack of lines at the registers and the quantity of unsold super sale product. I'd have bought one for $229, based on experience however I no longer have any faith in best buy mail in rebates
