Hi the subject quote from a report on the register at http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/55/23557.html
It appears yet another active scripting bug was found, permitting arbitrary file execution (no this isn't the one fixed last week, but yet another totally new one). Microsoft was alerted on 12/11/1 and hasn't yet done anything... I have decided to toss out IE, any suggestions? I'm thinking netscape but http://www.grc.com had some unkind things to say about them ... anyway what do you folks do? I'd like to enable limited scripting, but have concluded IE is NOT the vehicle for this risk on the internet.
Suggestions welcome. Also if you didn't know the most recent scripting fix doesn't fix this (in addition to the PnP problems for XP, ME and 98) well now you know
Sigh
I'm starting to get bummed out when I surf...
