MS final version drivers for USB 2.0 are now available. Been waiting for this.....got my 2.0 external hard drive working on a Maxtor 2.0 pci card. First large file transfer I tried was a 650 meg mpeg video. Hard to believe but it did the transfer off a 7200 rpm hard drive to this USB drive in 38 seconds! Wow! Not available from MS yet, but you can get the drivers here:

Kinda related....I recently noticed Comp-USA now has external USB 2.0 drive cases that one could mount there unused 3.5" IDE hard drive in.

Also Firewire cases by same Mfg.
