Hi,
Pardon an off topic thread, but my daughter turns 5 shortly and has happily been using her I-Opener for about as long as she can remember (she even painted the screen one day to fill in the coloring book hehe (hey and the I-Opener survived the painting AND cleaning)).

However it's really not up to her newer software, and while I could invest more into it, I'd really like to find a portable notebook she could take in the car with her and play her games, perhaps also watch a DVD.

The wealth of information and knowlege demonstrated often on this form is I guess what I'm trying to tap for this notebook question...

General parameters, should be droppable, should be sturdy/well built, should be at least able to play a dvd, and have a vivid screen capable of working in light. Finally should be able to run for 2-3 hours (one movie) without being plugged in but should also be able to easily run off a cigarette lighter (now called I think an auxillary power port in my ford)).

Thanks for any suggestions!
