CompuUSA no longer knows from "i-opener" or its sku on the website. There is no intellegent life at my local to ask about this. Did their Websurfer fiasco put them off this stuff for good??

According to the system at the CompUSA I work at, we have 16 I-Openers on order...this was yesterday...I don't know how long they've been on order, or when the hell we'd get them.

I work at a CC and we have over 60 on backorder just at my store....over 500 total in my surrounding stores. Netappliance is selling them direct and making more money because they are charging $40 shipping and handling and they are being very slow to fufill CC orders!!! This info is per Netappliance!

If anyone still has a copy of the CompUSA ad with the 99$ price and no mention of TOS, could they mirror it on some site? It might not actually help, but it'd be nice to flash something in their faces and hope they are cowed by the Printed Out Ad. Thanks,

-Eud

This probably won't do anybody any good but if you want a copy of the CompUSA
$49.99 web page for a souvenier or for your scrap book then create a clean subdirectory on your PC and go to This Link

Click on the cusa.zip link at the bottom left and download the file into your newly
created subdirectory. Unzip the file and view the myfile.htm file on your browser.

I couldn't figure out how to make it download just by clicking on the link so you
have to look at my ugly web page.

If you have problems with it then leave a post so others don't waste their time.
I think it should work though.

Shark:

Thanks for the CompUSA WebSurfer web page. I am sure it is of use to many. But it was the CompUSA Iopener web page that Eudinaesis was looking for. You wouldn't happen to have that, would you?

Thanks

Oops!

I realized that I put the wrong page when when Eud asked for the $99 one and not
the $49.99 one but I had already posted and couldn't delete it.

I'm sorry I don't have a copy of the i-opener page.

If I remember correctly there was no i-opener image available on that page.

I could probably hack a reasonable fake if I knew the SKU number,
Manufacturer Part number, and what to put for the description.

The WebSurfer page is also a hack. I just changed the path of the gif images
to point to the current directory and include the gifs in the download.
The advertisements at the bottom are the actual ones that were on the page
when it was available from CUSA.
