I ran across an interesting development environment (see link below) when I was doing research on Browser based IMAP email clients. Unfortunately the product does not work with Lotus Notes and I can't use it here at work. However, the functionality and performance of their demo software was outstanding. I realized that applications written in "Droplets" would be perfect for I-Appliances. Perhaps, if Netappliance was able to deliver more robust applications (ie not limited to browsing) the clever little I-Opener might have enjoyed success. Take a look, I think you will be impressed.
