I've seen similar devices at the Embedded Systems Conference, and they typically start at over $100 and climb upwards in price, depending on capacity. What we really need for the T200 is a small mini-IDE->CF socket on a daughter card that can be mounted as a replacement for the 1.8" hard drive. 08-15-2002 14:29:21

A $25 CF > IDE adapter and a 128mb CF for $50 looks like a better more Flexible (portable) solution if you can get the configuration to boot, and not exhaust its usable life to quickly. I'm a little disappointed with the Flash performance. I was under the misconception that solid state memory would be faster, not slower, then a hard drive. Years ago we would use RAM disks to increase IO performance.
