i bought the same winterm 2500 at a local used pc dealer for cool 25bucks i tok it home and unscrewed 2 screws holding the terminal interface and looked at it ,nope bad news it does not have ide headers but the cpu is 486/50 ic! and powered it up and it has setup screen in ppp,serial and ethernet and dhcp able plus printer setting and yes it is citrix metaframe supported
you can plug in regular mouse and keyboard to it too and oh yes it supports 640x480 and 800x600 mode!
not that bad though the monitor dotpitch lookslike around .32
they may be great for hooking up to serial console on linux box or alpha box or sparc box too
i saved by not ordering it from there :)

forget about buying those winterm 2500 they are discontinued and there is not much of hacking though! so it is not worth the investment ,stick to newer wyse products that have more features support ,intresting thing is wyse got a winxpe tablet winterm!!!!!!with built in web browser cool!
