I received a copy of a disturbing internal Netpliance memo and have posted it on my web page.
Apparently, if you receive an e-mail or letter demanding that you accept the new terms and conditions, it is because you are, to use the words in the memo, a suspect hacker customer. Judging by the contents of the memo, only those backordered customers that Netpliance is suspicious of receive this "special" treatment. Therefore, it would appear that some people are being strong-armed into accepting new stipulations and restrictions on their purchase while others are not.
