Subject: Using your ISP on my regular computer?

Is it possible to use the same dial-up account as used by the i-opener on
another computer? If so are there any restrictions on connection time and
bandwidth use?

This thing is using PPP to establish the connection, and someone poking around already mention the pap/chap secret files were in the /etc directory somewhere.

I would imagine it would be a matter of locating the IPs for DNS and default gateway, etc. and plugging them into the appropriate places in another OS.

The format of the userid was supposed to be your e-mail address. The question would be if the password is encrypted before being used as the pap/chap secret, or if your could just use the password exactly as typed in QNX.

Someone with one of these things please verify? Mine's still on order.

Black 3/18 via web, tracking says placed on 3/20, still "Processing order" but in "Shipping queue" according to Aaron on 3/25.
