Optimum Online has instituted outgoing mail content filtering. If they find what they believe to be "offensive" material in the outgoing e-mail, they delete it. They don't give you any sort of error or warning, they just delete it.
I found out by accident that our website www.badflash.com had been added to a spammer blacklist. How that happend I'll never know as we don't send out any spam. There doesn't seem to be any way to get off the list once you are on it.
If you want to see if this is happening to you try sending an e-mail to yourself and include a hyperlink to http://www.badflash.com in the mail message someplace. It will never arrive.
I'll probably have to hire a lawyer to get this fixed.
This is just a small step to all sorts of electronic snooping. Sort of like the McCarthy era blacklists. Once they call you a commie, that's it.
