The DCT700 is a stripped down digital cable tuner.
The unit has no security screws.
I am wondering if anyone out there can think of a way to get a schematic or if anyone is knowledgeable enough to figure out the Tx and Rx locations to add a TTL console cable to this thing. My hope is to use these on a PVR with direct serial control rather than an IR blaster. I am also curious as to what else can be accomplished through console access.
I will be creating pics if anyone shows interest.
