For those folks who like me are cheap, Take some time and browse your local garage sales! You may get lucky!

Electronics to experiment with!

This morning after leaving our local free wireless internet access site, I noticed a small garage sale sign on the way home.
I figured what the heck it's not to far away, so I drove to it.

The sale just opened up. I browsed thru the stuff not expecting to find anything interesting, I then noticed a new looking black camera bag with a $1.00 price tag on it. It had a camera in it. At first I thought it was just a film camera but closer inspection revealed it was a Sony digital camera. I snagged it.

I also saw a Sony camcorder with no price, I asked how much, After a few seconds of thinking the seller said $3 bucks.

I promptly paid for both quickly finished browsing through the rest of the stuff and got into my car. I was so excited I forgot my keys on the back table where I paid for everything...

The Camera is a Sony FD Mavica model MVC-FD100. This is a 1.2 MP with a large color lcd screen. Uses a floppy disk or memory stick for media. It's in near new condition. Just has a very slight scratch on a corner. I figure it should bring about $75 on e-bay.

The Camcorder is a Sony NightShot 72x digital zoom with steadyvision. It's also in near new condition! Still has all the stickers on it.

Yes it's a analog Hi-8 but it's awesome! It works great. The nightshot looks like a nightvision scope. The zoom is fantasitic!
This camera is one of the early version nightshots which some folks found out that when this camcorder is used in daylight one can partially see thru some types of clothing. I'm not interested in it for that.
It came with 3 Lithum rechargeable batteries that hold a charge, a charger and a brand new still factory wrapped Hi8 tape. I figure it should bring $75 to $100 on e-bay after I'm done playing with it.
