yup not shure there a newer replacement for the model 400 blue
but they seem to be made cheaper and dont respond to the vulcan nerve pinch
luckuly you can spot them before you buy them
no shutter. (correction open shutter when off)

ok heres the news modified the id's in the twain driver from the spypen actor series
camera is regonized as model tcg201 both as digital still and as a video camera
no driver conflicts with windows and the test camera passes (no bootloader mode)
but the twain driver gui shows a camera with no pictures and 100 remaining
also driver is dated 2002
i dont think this camera is locked like the smal ones but needs another driver
possibly uses custom cvs commands
the driver search continues for a newer endpoints driver

besides just modifing the device description" lines in the driver's
device files to match the camera usb id is there a good starting point
to sending usb commands to the camera to test it using windows xp
the stores around here have both the 300 and 400 on display
im "almost" shure that the usb contacs are the same and the other "scrubbed" contacts
are not used in processing (reflashing mabye)
they are both processed on the same machine and i dont think there was a hardware modification
on there processing machine just to accept the 300 model
