Here you can download an already hacked version of the firmware for the Dakota PV2 red camera. This is worth a try if you cannot find the right hex modifications you need to unlock your particular version of the firmware. In addition, it saves time and effort for hacking a compatible firmware version.

In addition, the zip file includes the official FlatFoto 2 Megapixle drivers CD (stripped of any bundled programs). It took me a hell of a lot of work to get the FlatFoto 2MP drivers on a CD. I didn't want to have to wait for a week and a half while it ships. I don't appreciate the fact that RadioShack only offers watered-down drivers on their website. Be sure to check the readme file in the zip.

hmm, i could host it, but i cant seem to get my Mysql database up and running again after an upgrade a while ago, poor me -linux newbie
But yeah, pls remove the file.
Making it this easy takes the fun out of hacking. (or a better term, reverse engineering)
